The NSF Energy Storage Engine in Upstate New York will hold its first Workforce Convening in June. The free, one-day event will be held June 16 at Drumlin’s Golf Club at Syracuse University.
This event will bring together approximately 150 key stakeholders, including workforce training organizations, educational institutions, government representatives, and energy storage industry leaders, with the goal of engaging participants in meaningful discussions around workforce development priorities and opportunities, focusing particularly on:
• Youth education and career exposure
• College-level education and training
• Adult workforce training and job placement
