NSF Energy Storage Engine joins national network of Regional Innovation Engines at annual CEO retreat in Fargo

Members of the NSF Energy Storage Engine leadership team traveled to Fargo, North Dakota for the NSF Regional Innovation Engines program’s second annual retreat, hosted by the NSF AgTech Engine in North Dakota. The gathering brought together Engine CEOs, workforce leads, research and development experts, operations managers, and communicators from across the national network of nine Regional Innovation Engines for several days of shared learning and relationship-building.

Conversations throughout the retreat centered on workforce development, commercialization, regional prosperity, and the work of strengthening resilient domestic technology ecosystems. As the program moves into Years 3 and beyond, there is a growing sense of momentum across the national network, with individual Engines deepening their work while building the connections and shared practices that strengthen the program as a whole.
